April at Bramble Flower Farm

April at Bramble Flower Farm

Autumn is well and truly here, bringing cooler mornings, golden light, and—thankfully—a few days of much-needed rain. After such a dry stretch, the garden is soaking it all up, and while the warmth lingers, the flowers are thriving. The ducks and geese have especially been loving the rain—splashing around in every puddle they can find!

We know the garden is going to explode with growth after all this rain (including the weeds!), and we couldn’t be happier. Things may look a little wild for a while, but that just means we’re in for an abundance of beautiful blooms.

Right now, the zinnias are stealing the show. Their vibrant blooms are everywhere, filling the farm with colour. There's something so special about this time of year—watching summer flowers give their final, spectacular performance before the true shift into the cooler months. The orchard is also starting to show hints of autumn colour, making this such a beautiful season on the farm.

Alongside all the autumn blooms, we’re also busy prepping a new flower field for spring—and it’s going to be absolutely beautiful! It’s exciting to think about all the colour and variety we’ll have when the new season rolls around.

With Easter Sunday (20 April) and Mother’s Day (11 May) coming up, it’s time to think about ordering your flowers for these special dates! Whether it’s a bright bouquet for your table, a little something for a loved one, or just a way to hold onto the beauty of the season a little longer, flowers have a way of making these moments even more memorable.

To make sure you don’t miss out, we recommend reserving your bouquet in advance. Let us know if you’d like fresh, locally grown blooms for Easter or Mother’s Day.
